A little bit of Winter Colour and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The last day of 2013 is upon us and already in Holland they are sending fireworks up... It is only 11am here at the moment and the fireworks have been going off for a few hours! Why bother sending up fireworks at this time of day? You can't see them!!
So I decided to share just a little bit of winter colour today, before the real colour explosion starts when the daylight fades!
So yes, the colours come from the flowers and I LOVE flowers... I decided I wanted big gerbera daisies like these in my wedding bouquet and I never thought I'd be able to talk about something like that LOL... But the outfit was in fact inspired by this gorgeous smoking jacket from The Sinners Crossroad, that Kenzee said I had to buy at the recent Chapter Four event... This is a totally new store to me but the patterns on the jackets that were available may well prove enough to pull me into checking out the rest of their collection... I simply love the bright poppy pattern of this jacket! I kept it simple, no jewellery and my favourite One Bad Pixel leather pants, but then had to add the adorable Axix Skyfall headband with its pretty angel wings to bring just that last little bit of festivity!
I hope everyone has a wonderful celebration tonight, whether you are going out or staying home, waiting up or seeing the new year in with your eyes closed... I wish 2014 will bring you lots of love and laughter and that you have an even better year than the one that's just passed - my goodness how quickly it passed feels like only yesterday, I was writing last years post LOL!
